Mia took my hand and we- I mean she marched away dragging me along like a confused puppy. I mean, why would I fall for the player? Usually I was the girl who stayed on her own for a while. Maybe flirt with him here then him there. But FALL for a guy. I don't kn- " JADE! OVER HERE!" Ughhhh. No. Brian. Dasop. Brian, is the a 6 foot 5, jet black hair, tan, jacked every sport imagines player. And he thinks I'm ' his.' Which only happened because of 7 minutes in Heaven in the 6th grade.
"Go." Mia commanded her lost puppy. " WHAAAAT?"Maybe that was a little too loud cconsidering everyone turned around. "Go." He stared at me. Girls mentally killed me. I walked over. Dylan pushed Brian into the lake. Uhm. Dylan? DLYAN! Red filled the murky lake. Brian was over Dylan. " THAT'S ENOUGH!" Now everyoone was staring at me. " Dylan, I don't even know you. Brian, I don't like you. At all." My legs were so shaky, Mia had to hold me up. " Where did that come out of girl?" Everything was so quiet, when Mia whispered it seemed as she was screaming. " Iii...Iii dodon't know." " I shut might eyelids for 2 seconds, and when I left slight daylight enter my mind, Dylan was already passionatly kissing me. Fourth of July all over.
author's note.: sorry I haven't written anything in a while. Writer's block & camp consumed me:) more coming up

Okay. Breath. After a few moments of hyperventilating, I texted my best friend, Mia.
Mia! get yr booti ovr here. NOW!
Of course, she was at my doorstep ten seconds after I pressed the send button.
She isn't only my best friend since birth but also my neighbor. "Jadey what's the situation?"
"I need a hot bathing suit for the Lake and I need to be there at 5!"
"Easy hun, details first, then I'll decid if your case is worthy enough ;)"
Of course. "Dylan. Martinis."
Of course she already knew who he is. He's cute. He's a guy. He's new.
"AWWWW! You two are SOOO cute together."
"We're still not together and I need a bathing suit!"
" Black two piece with pink outline, aztex style pattern. Blue pink yellow. NOW GO CHANGE."
4:30 p.m. Jade's house.
I decided on a prussian blue v neck with a pink heart necklace with jean shorts. Now Jade put my hair in two braids and I'm here walking to the lake. It only takes 10 minutes to get there but Dylan wanted to walk there alone with me.
But as soon as I saw him, he was making out with her.
Her was my brother's ex girlfriend.
Her was also the girl who was my ex best friend.
Her was Livia Marie Ross.

The rest seems like a daze. My mom won't tell me about Dylan. The doctor shot me with this blue liquid and I just woke up to the day after I met Dylan.
But instead of getting up as quickly as I did I decided I wouldn't alter the past. I mean seriously, Even if I alter the past here, I'd just make another illusion when I wake up everything would go on.
That's when I heard it. Clank, Clank. I looked outside, there was martinis boy. Oh, and don't forget his cute shy boy smile. And then there was the paperplane invite.
Come to the Lake at 5?
My smile said it all. He ran across the yard and then ran into the tree.
Okay. Now I just need to look cute for the lake. Even though I'm reliving this, I still get butterflys:).

"Hunny," my mommy's voice sounded like a sweet sound from heaven- waiting to tell disturbing news.
"Yeah, mom." "The doctor is going to put you in a deep sleep so you don't feel any pain. But in that deep sleep you might relive the past a little bit."
What was she saying? Can I alter the past? Can I see my mistakes?
" Mom, before I go to sleep, where is the piece of paper that was in my hand."
Her eyes shifted to the desk across te room. I knew something wasn't right but I needed to know what was in it.
"Sweetie, I think it's be-" "Mom, please give me the note." Tears conquered my eyes when I saw who's writing it was.

These two weeks have been amazing.
I'm so upset that I have to leave in a week. But before I do I want you to know that
I Love You. You're my sun and I'm Earth that revolves around you.

part 2 chapter 1
As I thought more to say to Dylan, to relax him and myself, I thought of the amazing two weeks it has been. He didn't only make me believe in love but made me believe in myself. Thup.
A bright blue light, the light you see in bug zappers, shined straight into my pupil. "Whhere am I?" I didn't know how I managed that out. Each breath seems more valuable than the last.
"Jade. Oh my god." Who's hugging me? Where am I? Where's Dylan? Is he okay? "Jade, honey? Do you recongnize me? The blurred vision became clearer. The curly hair. The caring voice. "Mom? MOM!" "Jade! You're okay, don't worry."
The cold tears rolled down my paled cheeks. I didn't know what was going on. But I'll soon find out, about everything.

2 and 1/2 weeks earlier.
"I geuss I'll start with the essentials. I'm Jade Delbuen. Dell - boo - n. And you are?" His eyes made everything worthwhile. Even if he didn't say a single word, his eyes will make up for everything else. After 3 minutes of crickets chirping in the backround he opens his mouth and says " I'm Dylan Martinis. Like the acoholic drink." I giggle, he shows me his shyboy white smile and boom. I thought knew it, this was going to be an amazing summer.Too bad I didn't know that what was going too happy in the following two tumultous weeks.

The crisp white paper was still in my clutch when I saw Dylan lying underneath the truck's tires. When did that truck get here? "Jaahde." As I sprinted across the lot the driver just sat in his seat. He looks like he's the one that's on the verge of death. His normally sky blue eyes with a green extrerior turned into a storm gray.
"Dylan, I'm right here. Stay still. Eveything is going to be okay." I think I said this more to coax me down rather than him. "Jade, I..I...," His raspy voice couldn't hold on any longer. "Shh, it's going to be okay Dylan," that's all I could come up with.
