Chapter 2
New York City, New York, 2010
Just keep running. Just keep running. I started wheezing, and running real slow. Their were a million questions going through my head, and you won't beleive how happy I was when I remembered that Grandma told Me and Lea that she was going to an old friends and won't be back until six. I could hear gun shots in the distance, and one just missed my arm. Turns out somebody had the heart to call the police because numeral set's of ambulance's and police cars showed up, and I started to calm down, but I still kept running. I heard the robber gasping, and another gunshot. I guess the robber wanted to make his last gunshot worth it, and he acheived his goal. He shot Lea stone in the back. When it was clear that the police had taken him away, I stopped to stare at was once my sister, now just a big pile of blood and bones. "Tell Grandma I love her, and Ana, I love you with all my heart. At least I'll be with Mom and Dad now. Thank you." Those were Lea's last words. I saw the ambulance take her away, and insisted that I come along. As soon as the ambulance closed the doors to their truck, I started bawling as hard as I could, and it just got stronger when I heard Grandma call me on her telephone from home. Imagine telling your Grandma that her Grand-daughter is dieing. Well, that was what I had to do on November 27th, 2010, or, as I know it the day that Lea, my favorite person in the world, died.

Today marked the one-year anniversary that Lea died. And, today just so happened to be the day that Me and Grandma were moving to Florida.

Chap. 1
New York City, New York, 2010
I woke up to the familiar smell of bacon and eggs, my Grandma's specialty, and immediatly woke up Lea. She adores bacon and eggs, but I, for one am getting really tired of the same old breakfast every day. Anyways, I put on the clothes that Lea prepared for me last night, because she has a really good sense of style, and she's just awesome like that. Today it was- a light green woven cardigan, a greyish brownish tanktop to go underneath, super skinny ripped jeans, and black Converse high tops. I quickly put on the clothes, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs. I had a big loss of appetite due to my lung cancer, but I never said anything when my Grandma handed me a big plate of bacon and eggs. I never want to make my Grandma sad because I love her, and I always think about her health because she's 67, and she smokes, so I worry about her. When we finished our breakfasts, Lea an I grabbed our lunches and went outside to wait for the bus. When It came, I was welcomed with looks of awe and jealousy. Yep, that's what Lea's fashion sense can do to an insecure, clumby girl. When I arrived at scool, I was greeted by my boyfriend, Sheldon Cohen, A.K.A the sweeteest most kind boyfriend a girl can have! He helped me carry all my books to Art, the only class that I don't have any trouble in. Everyone says that I'm really good at art, but I don't see it. Art is the only class where I can actually be creative, have fun. All the other classes whizzed by, except for Math where we had a pop quiz, and I'm pretty sure that I failed it. I was at home really fast because there was no traffic on the way back to school, but as Lea was opening the door to our house, I screamed as loud as my vocal cords could take me.
There was a robber in our house.

Hi. My name is Ana Evans. I am your typical teenage girl. I like to sing, do art, I have a twin sister, Lea, and my life depends on music. But I have a secret,and a devestating one, if so, that I cannot tell anyone- My parents died before I even knew them. Here is the story of my life, so that your not confused-
Toronto, Ontario, 1994
It was a warm day in Toronto, and Salma Perez had just gotten out of some not-so-light traffic on her way to work. She got out of her used Jeep and went to her work building- Brooke and Diamond Law, But what Salma did not know is that her boyfriend, Matt Evans, had a surprise for her- he was going to propose. As Salma was going into the elevator of her building, she saw her boyfriend with a ring in hand. He bent down to one knee. "Salma, would you marry me?" And that was how my parents got married. 3 years later, they had me and Lea, but when we were only 9 months old, we had to be taken into the loving custody of our Grandma, Sincha Perez, because our parents died in a car crash. They were on their way to a baseball game, when someone just hit my parents' car with their giant truck.
Or, at least, thats what my Grandma tells me and Lea, and she says the police told her the story. But, I don't know if that story is true. I never knew my Mom. I never knew my Dad, and to make it harder, I have lung cancer, and ADD. I just don't understand why God would make me have such a miserable life.
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY!

Hey, there Wittians! As you can see, this is my first story on Witty, and I know it isn't very good, but this is just the prologue- it gets a lot better.
