Love is blind
As the bottle hits the ground, it shatters,
Along with the life of thee,
Your final thoughts, "did I really Matter,
Was it I at fault, or he?"
The door flys open as your body falls,
Plummiting to the floor,
Towards you, he runs, your name he calls,
Could he really be back for more?
All the pain he caused, the time he took,
Is he not finished with you yet?
Don't glance at his eyes, it only takes one look,
To again, make you, his pet.
He grasps your waist, lifts you in his arms,
His head resting on yours,
This isn't just one of his charms,
Did he come here to end our war?
"I'm sorry, so sorry" he mumbles on and on,
As his eyes fill with tears,
"I've hurt you so badly, and now your gone,
Thanks to all my foolish years."
"My love, my darling, I can't live without you,
Missery will take over my mind,
So I shall act as you, tasting this poisness brew,
I shall leave my life behind"
The two lay side by side,
Fingers intertwined,
I guess now, there's no reason to hide,
The fact that love is blind.
