A love story like The Notebook CAN be possible. The other night, me and my mom were watching the notebook. She had never watched it but i had. I knew she would cry. I thought maybe just a couple of tears, because she usually never cries unless a animal passes away or something. When the movie was over, we were both balling. Which I am a sucker for love stories. But I found out why she was balling. She could of had that. When she was in seventh grade up until she graduated and on she was in love with a boy. Now her family had money, well as much money as considered middle class back then. She is 52, she had me when she was 38. She had graduated high school and her and the boy were going to get married and run off together and live happily ever after. But her father would'nt let her. He said that the boy didn't have enough money to please him and if she ran away with him he would disown her. She was heartbroke. Well finally she moved on, got married to a man her father approved of, but they had problems and she still had feelings for the boy. Her and her husband were having problems and she made a really bad mistake. The boy came back into town and she slept with him. Her husband found out and they got a divorce. Now here is where it differs. She never got back with that boy. They led seperate lives. He purposed to her so I could have a daddy, my daddy had diitched us, but she refused. I still don't know why she refused. I guess it was just a in the moment thing. She still calls him now and then, but his girlfriend always tells him to get off the phone. She is still madly deeply in love with this boy. And maybe someday, they will get together. Just maybe.
