sunlight filters through the golden leaves, the sky a brilliant blue. the playful arguments of boys playing football float to my window. venturing outside, the air is crisply cool on my bare arms. crickets chirp in the dimness of dusk, hidden amongst the damp grass. evening conversations over the pool table turn to late-night D&Ms over cigarettes. this place has become home. these people have become family.
