Lemme Kiss You
Chapter Six
Part One
ASHLEY’S POV
“James stop!” I cried. “You said you weren’t like this!”
“That was before you ticked me off!” he shouted, swinging his hand up and bringing it down and across my face.
“James,” I cried again, shrinking down and sitting against the wall.
He kicked me and stormed off.
“Don’t try to leave!” he shouted. “You’re stuck here now for the rest of the summer!”
I think I sat against the wall, in pain and crying, for hours. He’ll get better though, he’s just a little angry. There’s no need for me to leave anyway, I know he loves me.
My cellphone then rang and it was an unknown number.
“Who’s that?!” James yelled.
“I don’t know,” I responded.
He ran out and took my phone.
“Hello?” he asked. “No this is James. No, she’ll be here for a while. Okay, bye.”
He hung up and smashed my phone on the ground.
“How many (explicit) guys do you talk to!?” he shouted.
“I-I don’t know,” I responded, crying again.
“It needs to stop!” he shouted. “Little (explicit) cheater.”
“I’m not cheating,” I cried. “I’m not.”
“You could be!” he shouted, kicking me again. “How would I know!?”
“I-I-I’m sorry,” I cried.
“You should be,” he said, kicking me a third time and walking away.
NIALL’S POV
*ONE WEEK LATER*
“Lou,” I said, walking up to him. “Can we panic now?”
“Yes,” he responded. “She’s been gone for a week.”
“Liam said he called her cellphone and it went straight to voice mail,” Harry said, walking up to the two of us.
“What’s the kid’s name?” Liam asked.
“James” I responded. “Do you think it’s the James that lives a few streets away?”
“We can try his house,” Louis said. “Ash did take her skateboard there so it couldn’t have been that far.”
