Chapter Eight
When we finally pulled away from eachother, we were both panting hard, and smiling like idiots. I stared into his blue eyes, wondering how I could feel this way about a boy after only knowing him for 2 days.
"What do you want to do now? he asked, his arms still wound tightly around my waist. I shrugged.
"Whatever you want to do." He thought for a minute, and his face suddenly lit up.
"Cliff diving," he said, and began pullling me back to shore.
"Uhhh, cliff diving? Are you sure?"
"Are you scared to?" he asked.
"Yes," I admitted.
"Good, that's what makes it fun." We got into his truck, and drove along a winding road, that lead upward to a cliff we were going to jump off of. We eventually came to a stop, and I reluctantly got out of the truck.
"You ready?" he asked.
"Nope." He grabbed my hand tightly as we neared the edge. I looked down at the lake below me, and started hypervenalating.
"How do you know it's not shallow?"
"I've done this a million times," he bragged. I took a step back. No way would I be able to actually jump. I don't care if e's done it a million times.
"Come on. I dare you," He said. I gave up, and stepped right to the edge with him.
"On the count of three," he said.
"One...Two...Three...JUMP!!" We both plummeted into the lake below us.
I was flying. I've never felt so free in my life. I almost felt sad as my body hit the water, because I loved the feeling of flying soo much. I came up for air, and cleared my eyes to find Jace's face, just inches from mine.
"You did it," he whispered, and kissed me for the second time today.

I'm sorry, I haven't been writing. There was a death in my family, and I don't feel up to it anymore...
