Every time someone mentions getting married, I remember us... sometimes it makes me smile, other times it makes me cry. And every time I remember the ring you said would be on my left hand. A pretty ring it was but I care not for the ring now, nor did I ever really care. The bit I really cared for was knowing I was to be yours forever, and you were to be mine- and nothing could change that. But I got scared, oh darling was I scared. But right now I would ask you to marry me if it meant I would be yours once more, and you be mine. If I thought you would say yes I would ask you this very day and the first day we could be wed we would be. Only a few months and we would be married. But you won't want that so I won't ask and we won't be wed. Not in a few months, not in a few years, maybe never. If you wished to be never be wed I would not care, just so long as I was yours and you were mine... for the rest of our lives
