I was getting coffee with a friend today
The women making my coffee called me sweet pea.
Three times in a row
But she did not say it to my friend
Seriously, sweet pea? not once, but three times?
I have mentioned how I dislike being called cute nicknames, like honey, sweetie, babe, and sweet pea
And I really do not like it, even if you are being super nice, even if I know you personally
I do not know exactly why I am spoken to like this all the time, but it makes me feel like a kid.....like I am dumb..like I need to be spoken to sweetly because I am viewed as sensitive or weak
I dont know...
But it has always bothered me
I even hate it when my parents call me honey and sweetie
So if someone I dont know says it to me, it makes me cringe, but I am never rude about it, I just smile and act like it does not bother me
But it really does
It sounds demeaning to me...like you would talk to a child like that
I could be somewhere and a girl next to me would not be called honey, hun, sweetie, darlin, or sweet pea
But I seem to get called these names everywhere I go
I guess I just have a certain look about me....I do not know

When will some people realize not every person is interested in talking to them?
It is not being unfriendly
If someone is bothering you and you want them to leave you alone, then tell them
You do not owe anyone your attention or time, if you really do not feel comfortable
You do not have to talk to people if you do not want to
And it really is not being rude
Not everyone is talkative, not everyone enjoys random conversations
I know I do not at all
I would prefer not to not say anything if I really do not need to

when numerous people are disagreeing with what you say, and making quotes against your misinformed ideas because you've so hastily blocked them, thus disabling their ability to reply, you kinda have to think "hmm, maybe i'm doing something a lil wrong here?"

So many people I encounter online need to be tested for reading comprehension...Seriously, if you cannot focus on, understand, pay attention to, or care about reading text and words and understanding basic facts and information, you should not be allowed to use a computer.
You just look foolish.
Like how do you pay attention to anything important if you literally cannot read ? And understand information?
I said before many people are like little children, they just cannot focus on or understand certain things

I just find it weird when people call other people honey, hun, or sweetie....especially if you do not know them. And its really weird when a girl says that to another girl after insulting them...
It sounds like you are trying to demean someone and make them feel stupid or naive, by calling them that
Its like...you are not being sweet and I am not dumb, so what is up with the pet names?

Some people just cannot mind their own business
If you are curious and find someone interesting , that is one thing...You want to find out more about what someone is like and thats fine
But being nosey and just constantly bothering someone and not really caring about the person (you just bother someone because you are bored)

Not being rude, just letting you know
If you are not talking to me about something specific, I honestly do not know what to say to you
I do not say much as it is
I am really quiet, I am shy
I only talk to people I feel comfortable talking to about certain issues
This does not include random strangers on the internet who know absolutely nothing about me

You can say I Dont Promote all you want
But if your blog or your account says otherwise, your excuses mean absolutely nothing
I cannot stand people who intentionally try to trigger and harm other people and then act like they are victims
Posting triggering content is not self expression
If you promote serious issues like they are trends, you are not the victim
