: late day thunderstorms, the steam rising

: something about l o n g , lazy days

: and w h i r r i n g air conditioners and
: b r i g h
t plastic flip flops from the
: drugstore thwacking down t h e street.
: something a b o u t fall being so close ,
: another year, another summer, stirring
: up like the storms that crest at the end
: of each day, blowing out all the
heat
: and dirt to l e a v e behind
everything
: gasping and cool. everyone can reach
: back to that one s u m m e r and lay a
: finger to it, finding the e x a c t point
: where e v e r y t h i n g changed.
