You were like a powerful tidal wave,
Pulling me in and pulling me out.
Over and over again, making me dizzy.
In your arms, it felt cold, as the air

rushed against my cold pale cheeks.
We held each other, as we were pushed
by the powerful wind-no, hands.
We were the underdogs, we were the outsiders.

And all I wanted was to be was with you.
Never wanted paper balls thrown at our heads,
I can feel your hand clench into mine, in anger.
I knew behind your smile, was a frown.

And behind the frown, was just-a frown.
I am not only just a girl, writting a poem about this,
spur of emotions, and the dizziness hitting me.
I can feel your chest rise up and go back down,

breathing out cold air, I could see our breath.
My head rested comfortably on your chest,
arms around my body like a warm home.
Our legs tangled together, in the snow.

I didn't feel cold.

Not even once,

in your arms.
