I'm a writer and I will stand my ground
cherish my arm and I will write you a sonet
hold my cheek, like you're choosing cabage
and I will write about tresure hunts
feed me alcohol and I will write about addiction
take me home and I will write about passion
about wanting and longing and missing out
you will notice, days later
that the sonnets don't fit the scema
that the tresure is worth two pennies
that the addiction told more about losing then wanting
sacrifices not worth making
making them anywyas, shooting up liquid freedom
note that I'm not the object in the story
that passion was never about people
