The little boy told his dad
he's going to be superman
He could survive anything and everything
From the bad guys, to the swords
He's going to save the world
By the time he was 16
He sure was superman.
He fought the bad guys, and the swords
He was trying his best to save the world
But what people don't know is:
The bad guys were his thoughts
The swords were his razor blades
He was trying to save his world
And one Sunday afternoon
Superman tried a new superpower
The ability to fly
He wanted to escape his world and go somewhere else
No more swords or bad guys
No more feeling alone
So he stood on top of his building trying to escape.
And with one jump
He did.
