She always wore long sleeves, just cause of the
“weather”
She was always smiling cause she was
“happy”
Her eyes were red because she was
“tired”
No one saw through the Sleeves
No one saw through her smile
No one saw her cry.
They thought she was okay for a while
She wanted a reason to be their
She wanted a reason to live
She wanted a reason not to self harm.
But no one seemed alarmed.
But no one gave her a reason to stay
They figure she was always okay
But one day, her sleeves came up
She stopped trying to smile
She told them their was no reason to be their
But they didn’t listen.
Driven to despair
She ties the rope
And kicks the chair.
