He had the strength and the hope to ask you out every year knowing you would say no. I think it would be unfair to him if you carried on with no love for him. (If that is what you're saying.)

long distance relationships suck. majorly. Im gunna sound like a major looser when i say this, but they say it makes your love stronger. but anyways, this is a really cute little storyish thing. i honestly think you guys need to do like maybe skype or facetime as much as possible if you dont already, then maybe make plans to go see eachother. :/
