When I'm sad, I listen to Maroon 5. Which isn't really valid to say, since I listen to them regardless of my mood.

Okay, so.

"Nobody's Home" by Avril Lavigne
"Runaway" by Avril Lavigne
"Everybody Hurts" by Avril Lavigne
M"y Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne.

Those are the songs I listen to when I'm on the verge of tears. Just something about Avril's voice and how she seems to understand how I'm feeling puts me in a slightly better mood. Not necessarily a good one, but it usually stops me from crying.

If you want a few motivational songs to potentially cheer you up, go to YouTube.
Type in these songs:

"Ugly" by Roomie - In this song, Roomie, who is an awesome YouTuber by the way, talks about how it isn't so bad being "ugly" and to not change yourself.

"You're a Winner" by Roomie - In this song, Roomie literally just sings about how you're a winner. It makes me smile because he's so sweet and telling me I'm a winner and just ugh. <3

"You'll be Loved" by Roomie - Finally in this song, he talks about how you may be going through a hard time now, but it can't last forever. He says in it that your heart will heal, if you just hold on. Then just assures you that you will in fact be loved again.

"What Now" by Rihanna. This song is basically about not knowing what exactly is wrong with you. You just feel sad for some reason, and you just can't really describe it. That's my take on the song, anyway.

"Get It Over With" by Rihanna. My take on this song is about something that you know is going to happen that will be bad and how you just want it to happen. Just want to get it over with already.
