My friends tell me I'm beautiful or pretty.
I tell them that's not what my mirror tells me.
My boyfriend tells me I'm smart.
I tell him I'm always around people that are smarter.
My grandpa asks if I'm losing weight cuz I look thinner.
I tell him it's only because I'm wearing baggy clothes.
My new friend Devyn says I'm good at Spanish.
I tell him pfft no I'm not.
Then I tell him people give up on commenting me.
Because I always deny it cuz it ain't true.

Why do I do this to myself?
