Would you still be fine

If you could see my inside?

My rotten apple core

Decaying each day more

Would you still pick me from the tree

Darling are you missing me?

Do I invade your thoughts all day long?

Do I pop in your head because of a song?

Darling, please please tell me dear

Because I can’t live another year

Without you in my life

You need to take my hand off this knife

That I’m trying to bury into my heart

Maybe then the emotions won’t start

And I can’t help but notice, darling

You too seem to having a longing

For someone gone without a fight

But it’s not me, isn’t that right?

And so as this poem comes to an end

I hope that you’ll take my amend

Darling please, for I can’t see

Why and are you missing me?
