Everyone: Oh, but look at Emma's teeth, they're so straight and clean and she'd never had braces either.
Me: I made the varsity soccer team as a freshman. I'm good at soccer.
Everyone: That's cool. But Susan is starting varsity and she's a freshman too, so she's way better than you.
Me: I have a thigh gap and a fit body.
Everyone: Yeah but you're too skinny, you look anorexic, it's gross, you should be more like Serena's size.
Me: I'm in almost all honors classes and get pretty good grades.
Everyone: Oh, nice. But Eliza is in all honors classes and got a 4.6 gpa.
Me: I placed 15th at reginals and made it to state cross country as a freshman.
Everyone: Cool, but Sophia placed 6th.
