Chapter 45
Justin and I walked into the room where we were going to get interviewed. I sat down and waited nervously for the lady to walk in.
“Julia calm down, why are you so nervous?” Justin asked.
“I really don’t know.” I answered.
“Everything is going to be fine.” Justin assured me and put his hand right above my knee. I took a big breath in and then the woman who would be interviewing us walked in. I really didn’t know what to do but Justin stood up so I did too.
“Hello!” the woman said shaking my hand and then I sat back down. A man in front of us said “and 3, 2, 1” and then pointed his finger. The interviewer started introducing herself and us, “Hello I’m Erin Andrews and I’m here with Justin Bieber and his date, Julia Shea.” She was only really asking Justin questions but sometimes they went for both of us. I was just waiting for one of them to ask if we were dating.”
“Ok well that’s the end of the fan questions but now I have some of my own. I think everyone is dying to know this one, is juslia back together?” There it is!
“No we’re not back together, just friends.” Justin said.
“Well Justin you don’t seem very happy to say that, am I correct?”
“What can I say.” I couldn’t believe Justin said that, on television.
“So are you both single?” Erin asked.
“I am.” Justin said.
“What about you Julia?” Erin asked.
“Um no I’m not. I have a boyfriend.” I answered.
“Really! What’s his name?”
“Madison.”
“Does he know all about everything that went on with you and Justin?” Erin asked, which I felt was kind of private but I answered anyway.
“Yes he does.”
“He knows everything?”
“Everything.” I was kind of insulted that she was asking me all those questions and acting like I would lie to Madison about Justin. That was probably what Justin had been so worried about in the car; he knew she was going to do that. After Justin and I were done answering questions we had to go sign autographs, which wasn’t so bad. My favorite part was signing autographs for the younger girls because they all said they wanted to be just like me when they grew up. I mean I know they were probably just talking about the how I dated Justin Bieber but it’s still cute.
After Justin and I finished signing autographs we went back to his apartment so we could change our outfits. We walked in and Justin showed me the dress he had for me.
“Thank you Justin, it’s beautiful!” I said and gave him a hug. I went into the bathroom and I was really really excited to go to the award show.
As Justin and I walked in we must have taken 10 billion pictures. We finally got to our seats and we were next to Austin Mahone and his date. We were sitting in front of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth and One Direction was sitting in front of us. Austin was here with a pretty blonde girl that I didn’t recognize. I turned to him and said “Told you that you had a think for blondes!” I giggled.
“Shut up.” he said and gave me a little nudge. “So are you and Justin back together?”
“No, but I think he invited me here hoping that he could get me back, but I’m with Madison now.”
“Well are you sure that Madison is exactly all that you want, because if I was you and I knew the person I was dating was ‘the one’ I wouldn’t be sitting at an award show with ‘the wrong one’.” I let Austin’s words sink in and I realized he was right.
“So what do I do if I think I was wrong?”
“Well I’ve never been in this kind of situation but I would think the best thing to do, is to tell one of them before the other messes it all up.”
“Thank you so much Austin!” I said and gave him a big hug.
“No problem, good luck!”
The award show started not too shortly after Austin and I had our talk. When Justin’s first award came around he didn’t win, and I gave him a hug and told him he was better than the guy that won. Luckily he was nominated for two awards so he still had a chance. Austin won best upcoming star, demi won sing of the year, and Miley won something for her movie LOL but I wasn’t really listening. It was finally time for Justin’s next and he won! I stood up and gave him a big hug before he walked onto the stage.
“I would like to thank all of my fans because without you, I would be nothing. Also I’d like to thank my mom for raising me into a successful young man. And also my dad, even though he wasn’t always around I know he still cared. And last but not least, the love of my life Julia Shea, for sticking by my side in all of this, I love you.” My mouth hung wide open and I looked over at Austin and I didn’t know what to do. Madison was probably going to watch this when he got home. When Justin got back to his seat I was standing up and he grabbed my face and kissed me. I pushed him away even though I didn’t want to and yelled “What are you doing! Madison is going to kill both of us.”
“Julia I really don’t care. I made a huge mistake when I let you go and I have regretted it every day since. I want you back.” Justin said.
“Well it’s a little too late for that. You know I’m with Madison now.”
“Well you can’t stand here and tell me you don’t love me back.”
“Maybe not, but I can’t stand here and tell you I don’t love Madison either.” I sat back down and didn’t really know what to do. If I ran out everyone would know why, but if I didn’t, what would Madison do? My intension wasn’t to hurt him, but I think I made a huge mistake coming here, and I don’t think Madison was completely ok with it.
