Today a dude told me to "kill yourself", but I did deserve it.
Another guy said the letter he wrote me wasn't heartfelt
And just now a guy forgot he called me nice.

But it's the first one that really burned

Darling, nobody ever deserves to be told to kill themselves. That isn't okay. I am giving you a big hug in my mind. Don't even consider doing that. Even if people don't treat you with the respect you deserve, don't retaliate meanly. Just be nice. It may sound weird, but maybe the only reason they said that was because the were upset. I know that sometimes I do that. I get angry, and take it out on other people. A lot of the time, people say mean things because of that. Sometimes a person being nice, genuinely nice, will make their day 100% better.
