Chapter Twenty

Addison

"You too" Troy mumbled.
I remained motionless so that he didn't know I heard him.
After around ten minutes of silence I sat up. "Sorry"
He laughed "Why are you apologizing Addison?"
"For being...boring" I sighed.
"You're kidding right? I love spending time with you. Even if it's doing nothing" Troy put his hand on his forhead and head, squinting his eyes,
"Are you okay?" I asked
He nodded "Just a little migraine"
I started to get up "Do you want something?"
He grabbed my arm and pulled me back "No, I'll be okay"
"Wow, you're so brave" I wrapped my arms around my chest and fell back onto the bed. "You're being sarcastic, I can literally feel it." I smiled.
How couldn't I?
When I was with him, I was happy.
I decided that, which was quick. I think. And strange, for me.
Remembering the last time I felt like this brought back an awful memory or an awful guy. So I'll forget about it, as well as I could. "Troy" I said softly,
"Addison" he replied.
I shifted onto my knees and leaned into Troy, he smiled with only half of his mouth, never showing his teeth. His eyes still squinted he wrapped his arms around my waist and looked up to me. I curled the top of my back and put my hands on his face, holding on tightly so I wouldn't loose the moment and I kissed him.
And describing the kiss would essentially ruin the moment between us.  
So I just remember it as well as I can. "I like you Troy."
He laughed "Finally"
