CHAPTER
1
It was the first day that i would be starting my new
school inn Conneticut, the middle of junior year. My family had
to move out here from Mass because of my Dad's new job. Im
the kind of girl who guys want to be with, or so i've heard.
But im shy. And its hard for me to fit in. Ive had guys after
guys try to get with me, but i would never let anyone touch me
that way. I would never want to be taken advantage of, its just
not me.
"*BEEP BEEP BEEP*. I look at the clock 5:00am, i set my
alarm a little bit early so i would have to time to actually try
to look decent. As i rubbed the crusties from my eye, i sat up
and shut the alarm to OFF. I grabbed my phone to check my
instagram and twitter. I tweeted "New School, New Me,
off to getting ready". All of which my 56 followers will
read, half of them weird, online perverts prying on little kids.
Yuck. I took a shower and put my robe on. I blow dried my medium
boob length dirty blond hair and plugged in the straightener.
While that was heating up i grabbed a granola bar, scarffed that
down and came back. It took me all of 15 minutes to straighten my
hair. Only buring my ear twice. Wow, was that my record? Go
champ. I went into my room and applied my makeup. Concealer,
Setting powder, a light peachy blush, 2 coats of mascara and a
glossy lip. I didnt want TOO much makeup, i mean it was my first
day. Then the hard part. Outfit. I put on my jeans,
cardigan and combat boots. I also wore my ring and peral
earrings. Then it was time to go. My parents were still sleeping,
so i said bye to them as i left. I hopped into my car. Yes, i was
a junior but my parents bought me the car when i got my license,
and drove to school. I parked and got out. I stood outside the
doors for a minute and thought. Well this is it.
