Including the 20-year-old gunman himself and his mother, the
principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School, at least 18
children, and others who worked there. On December 14th, my
8-year-old cousin watched his best friend die.
Harmless children had their future taken away from them for
no reason, and the children who survived had their innocence
taken away. Adults had the light of their lives stolen from
them, and will have to face going back to an empty house and
seeing Christmas gifts they got for their kids that will now
never be opened.

I'm not justifying that he isn't to blame, but he was mentally ill and should have recieved medical attention/care long before any of this happened. 0reply
