Covalent bonds are bonds between atoms using shared electrons, ionic bonds are the attraction of the charges of the ions. Negative attracts positive. Hope that helps :)

Good! :) And polar molecules have a negative and positive end, nonpolar molecules don't. The Earth is like a giant polar molecule with the north and south poles...it's like magnetic things, batteries...that kind of thing. A beach ball is nonpolar, the Earth is polar. Make sense?
