Getting Ready For Bed:

*looks through all the blankets*
Me: Where's my monkey?
Me: Pshhhh, who needs a stuffed animal I'm a big girl
Me: Wow. It's pretty dark.
Me: But I'm not scared. I'm a big girl.
Me: Brrrr, it's cold
Me: *lays more blankets on me and monkey falls out*
Me: *hugs him* Oh thank God I found you
