Or we could talk about the fact that Mitt Romney's plan was to cut taxes on rich people and still decrease our debt without taxing the middle class. You can say whatever you want about Obama's economy skills but that makes no sense. And our debts not even as big of a deal right now as people are making it to me. It's not like China can come to us tomorrow and demand for us to pay them back. It doesn't work that way.

Our army is stronger than theirs. The only thing they have on us is numbers. But that means nothing. Great Britain had strength in numbers, but look who won the revolution.

I'm pretty damn sure if there was some massive war raging on, money would go towards it. Taking away money from the military spending will help pay debt and pay for education. Those are important too!

The constitution gives us our freedom. The military, congress, president, and judicial branch protect it. But yes, agree to disagree because this isn't going anywhere. We have two different views. Obviously in two different parties... We'll have to learn to not fight, I assume you can't vote yet & I can't either, so I'm sure we'll have many future chances to debate on our political views.

China needs us to be successful in order for them to succeed as well. As a matter of fact I have researched the debt, and it's NOT as important as republicans are making it. Of course it's important, in like 20 years, but right now? No so much. How is that plan supposed to lower the debt anyways? That's less taxes than people are paying under Obama. That's less /money./ Do the math.

Yeah. 20 years from now. when im in my mid 30's. andhave to pay the crazy taxes and wont be able to afford a house or feed my children. but hey. i can get on welfare with the rest of our country because every one will depend on the government and not be able to do crap for themselves.

oh im rich? then why is my family barely able to make our bills? why is my step mom out of work? why is my mom fighting to find a good job? why is my step dad fighting also? im on the verge of losing my home. thats like me saying "oh you like obama? you must be a black, poor kid whos on welfare" STEREOTIPICAL. i might LOSE my house. yeah. so im def rich. i work so i can earn my own money so i dont have to ask my parents. dont judge anyone.

I've been trying to tell people that things have to be approved by the house / congress AND the supreme court checks whether or not laws are unconstitutional, but they don't listen. Obviously, no one payed attention to 8th grade social studies.

Just going to say something. I only found this that you commented back to me. One. I'm 18 and sitting in a collage dorm room. Two. I'm a guy I can't just be "She's just repeating what her parent's said" Three. My father is dead Four my mother is in another part of the country getting cancer treatments so I couldn't have asked my mother. How old are you? 15? You can't vote yet. What about your parents? Umm & what exactly are you referring he took from you in the first place? PLEASE get your facts right. Obama can't just take your freedom of speech away. It's the first amendment! American's freedom is pretty much centered around that amendment! PLUS, if he wanted to take it, HE WOULD NEED CONGRESS'S approval! But, even then, the judicial branch would declare it unconstitutional to take away the first amendment. Think before you type because you sound rediculous

No thy do not! Have you payed attention in history class? There may be two different main political parties, but in each party there are factions! The democrats do share beliefs, but when it comes to doing things for their state, their opinion might change. If their women, their opinion on a certain law might change. Depending on their age, sexual oriantation (since there is, I believe, now a gay congressmen), if they have kids!! My point is, even te democrats share different beliefs and they don't always vote with each other.

That isn't true. He won't "completely ruin" America. George W. Bush " ruined " America, that's why Obama did get rid of the big pile of Bush left him. There was too much & he was given a spoon, not a tractor, to get rid of it. If America voted for him, respect that. And learn your facts. I'd rather have Obama that some guy that wanted to take away some rights women have to their body. I'm sorry, but have some respect for your gender and not route on that kindda guy.

Right on. I believe the tampons bit was a lie, though. That's what my history teacher told us a few weeks back. But, he did want to take away some of our rights to our bodies as women. Like I understand abortion is wrong, but if someone was to get , I see it as something that's a right choice...

Thats stupid. If someone doesnt want a baby inside them, they should be able to get rid of it. What about the mothers that HAVE to have an abortion to save their life? Is that wrong? Oh no, actually, just let them die when they have the baby so the child can grow up without a mother. Or, better yet, give it up for adoption, with thousands of other kids without families! yeah, good choice.

The Bible has nothing to do with the United States government. It's in the First Amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof." You can't write laws based on a holy text written by iron-age men who were creating answers to sentient man's biggest questions without actually finding said answers. The Bible also says the village is allowed to stone a boy to death if he disobeys his father. Shall we make that law, too? Or can we forget the Bible and progress forward as an intellectual society of freethinkers?

Some people don't believe in the bible. Some people aren't religious, like so. You can't use the bible in a fight when there is religious freedom in America. That debt WAS from Bush, or at least, he started the ongoing problem! Obama WILL help this country. WILL continue to give us rights we deserve! Since last night THREE states legalized gay marriage. Wouldn't have happened with Romney.
