I don't think anyone on here realizes the
devastation that Hurricane Sandy has caused. My town is the 2nd
worst hit town on Long Island. I am part of the lucky 15% of my
town with power. My house is like a hotel right now. It is sleeping
my aunt, and my family. And I had a few people take showers here
yesterday because they had no running water. I am feeding my aunt,
the people that showered here, and families from my old elementary
school. I went to my town hall to donate any clothes and shoes and
games that I could, and people were so thankful there. I was
getting hugs and kisses, left and right from people I didn't
know and who didn't know me. 10 of my cousins and 17 familes,
just in my town, are homeless right now. I am not asking for any
kind of praise from you guys, all I'm asking is for you guys to
donate to the cause.
