It's weird how something amazing
can change to something horrible.
I was at dancing yesterday night and my friend and I were being
stupid, fooling around and getting in trouble for talking. We were
both having fun until I accidentally brushed my arm against hers,
and she pulled away as if she had been burned. I asked her what was
wrong and with tears in her eyes she said, 'Please don't
tell anyone'and peeled back bandage on her wrist to
reveal 'F**k Me* Carved into her arm as a scar. I almost burst
into tears but I held her by the shoulders and told her 'Please
don't do it again, ever'.
It's heart breaking how a girl so confident and funny did
something so horrible to herself. If you have the urge to cut
yourself, no matter how great it is and how you feel it will
relieve you of your pain, it isn't worth it. You are harming
yourself and that is not good no matter how much you think it will
help.
Please don't cut, resist the urge even if it is hard to bear.
Just, please, don't.
Please.
