New girl

1
As I walked down my schools hallways, I felt peoples eyes burning
holes in the back of my head.
People kept staring.
I understand I was the new girl but why do they have to make it
so uncomfortable.
This morning I was beyond nervous, not knowing what to
wear.
I decided with my white jean shorts and a pink lace top, with my
toms.
As I walked up to my locker I noticed 2 girls we're beside my
locker, which was in the middle.
"Oh hi, your Danielle, the new girl right?" one of the
girls with orange hair exclaimed.
"Um, yes." I said, a bit shyly.
"Well Danielle, I'm Ana. It's nice to meet you"
she said sticking out her hand.
I gladly took it and shook it.
"Oh and this is my friend, Lisa!" Ana said.
"Nice to meet you." Lisa said, directing it to
me.
I shook her hand, and then said goodbye.
After all, I did need to get to class.
I made 2 new friends, but thats only 2 out of 1000.
