MISTAKES.
Teaser / Autumn's P.O.V.
I saw a blonde boy sitting there, fiddling around with his guitar
with a pen and a few pieces of paper in front of him. He had a
very concentrated expression, as if he was thinking deeply and
intently. Which I suppose was what he was doing.
He frowned a little, and set down the pen. He picked up his
guitar and started to play a soft, melodic lullaby and began to
sing.
"Think that we got more time, when we're falling behind,
gotta make up our minds..."
I smiled slightly, the corners of my lips tugging upwards. He had
a smooth, beautiful voice and I began singing along with him
quietly, since I knew the song.
"Or else we'll play, play, play all the same old games.
And we wait, wait, wait for the end to change. And we take, take,
take it for granted that we'll be the same. But we're
making all the same mistakes..."
He glanced up and met my eyes. I recognized his, right away, as
the famous blue ones of Niall Horan from One Direction. I could
be so stupid sometimes. He waved and smiled, motioning for me to
sit beside him. I made my way over to him, my legs quivering a
little bit, and sunk down next to him.
"You have an incredible voice," he complimented.
I laughed. "Not as good as yours."
He shrugged. "I'm Niall, by the way."
"I know. Everyone knows you. I'm Autumn."
He grinned, showing his braces. "Hello, Autumn. Pleasure to
meet you."
I nodded. "Were you writing a song?"
I peeked down at his papers, and saw some lines for some songs
such as "Kiss Me" and "Live While We're
Young." He nodded.
"They're very good so far," I said.
"Thanks."
I stayed silent, since I couldn't think of anything else to
say. Luckily, he filled the silence.
"Are you a fan of One Direction?" he wondered.
"Not really, to be honest," I said lamely.
Niall laughed, not taking it seriously. "How come?"
"Because Zayn's in it. If he wasn't, maybe I would
like you guys."
"What's the problem with Zayn? He's a good
guy."
"Well," I said, keeping my eyes low. "If
you really want to know, he's my step-brother. And we're
not exactly, well, that close."

Just a preview of my new

I'm not quitting that story, I just was bored and wanted to
