We arrived at the airport at 7:15 a.m. I Smiled Broadly as we
approached the airport doors. Emma & I entered together and
walked up to the sign in. "Hey. Don't you think were
young?" I asked Emma a little confised. "They
Shouldn't" She said standing up taller. "Because
if they don't. they'll have to deal with this."
She Smirked at me. "Yeah.Deal with you." I smile
sheepisly. "Attention. Miami Florida leaves in 60 minutes.
We look at each other & do the the Dread look.
"Umm..Yes..hi. I'm Haley . And this is Emma." I
point over to her. "We booked a seat for Miami,
Flordia." I say. "Ahh..yes..Here you go!" We
went to sit down to survive another 60 minutes of bordem.
Though it passed faster than I thought it would. Now were
flying on a plane to Miami Bay. "Yes!Here we go!!" I

a Text from my Mom. Heading to the Hospital Brad Doesn't

schock. I texted her back. Mom?This must be a lie. & you

Watching Emma play on her ipod. I tapped her on the shoulder.
"Emma. My." I paused Cause i knew he wasn't my
Dad "Brad's going to the hospital..He doesn't feel
good.." She looked at me in pain. "Haley!I'm so
sorry." She put a her hand on my shoulder. I shrugg.
"I mean. He's probably got a Flu or something. I know
its that time of season." I squeezed a smile in at the
end. "Well. You gotta Point.We'll just hope he's
okay." I Turned to look out the window.
"Yeah.We'll hope.." I muttered.
