When I say that Kurt Cobain is one of my biggest inspirations,
people tend to look at me strangely because they only think he
was a deranged drug addict who committed suicide. Whether
it's a good or bad inspiration is a matter of opinion. I
would see Kurt Cobain was most inspirational through his song
writing. He is my hero because of the music he created. His
lyrics are as relatable to me as it gets. Though he was
depressed, he saw some good in his life and was a great father to
his daughter. He also taught me that you could go from a poor kid
living in a run down town to a rock star. He also showed me that
the things we go through can be expressed through music, which is
why I am in love with writing and creating music. The way he
carried himself proved to me it shouldn't matter how you look
or how you dress, but to just be yourself no matter what.
