As children

We were all brainwashed 

into thinking that when we get older, life will be so much better.

We turn on our TV's and go to the movie theaters and see all of these wild parties and all of these fun things that make growing up seem like paradise.

They never told us about all the drama we would face, all the heartache we would have to endure, and all the times we would feel like just crawling under a rock and never coming out.

Society made us all feel like being a kid was going to be one of the most boring times of our lives and that being a grown up would be the best thing that ever

but frankly,
I would do anything to be a kid again.

and what disgusts me the most is this is turning into a generation of young girls who can wait to grow up. Now, you can't walk down the street without seeing an 11 year old with a cell phone, a face full of makeup, and dressed head-to-toe in abercrombie and hollister.

What ever society is planning to ruin this generation... it's working.

If you don't like my quote fine by me, I really don't care. But please do not insult me just because I have a different opinion than you. Seriously, when I wrote this quote I literally made it up from the top of my head one night. I did not proof read it at all, and I DEFINITELY didn't expect it to be a top quote. I apologize if this quote offended you in anyway but honestly, if you don't like it please keep scrolling because this was my opinion and I will stick by it no matter what. Don't yell at me and get an attitude because you don't agree. I understand you feel differently but that doesn't give ANY of you the right to be rude and just plain nasty. People like some of you are the reason I'm starting to get tired of witty. You all are just so self-centered into thinking everyone has to be just like you when I thought being DIFFERENT is what made this site so great. I guess I was wrong.

We are grouping all the kids one in the same.
What if I told you, no one dresses exactly the same and does everything the same.


Who says kids can't do what they what?
Us.

We want them to be who we once were.
We are taking their freedom of style and how they can act.

You know what's funny about all this?
We make up society.
We set up our own standards for what people should be like.
Its not "society's fault" its our own.
Because we're one in the same.
And now we're in to deep to dig ourselves out.

Plus, If eleven year olds want to wear makeup and Hollister/Abercrombie because they like the way it looks then let them! Maybe they are wearing it to look "older" , but it's our own damn fault that we treat them like little kids. That doesn't necessarily make them materialistic little snobs who want to be teens.

I'm sorry if I'm being too harsh.
But if an eleven year old wants to do that type of stuff,
then who are we to judge them?
And if were sick and tired of all this judging and what not, then it's about time we got OUR acts together and changed OUR opinions instead of ranting and blaming "society" for the judging problems.

Again, I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, but things like this drive me nuts.

everyone is society. when i was 11, I'm 17 now, i wore make up, i listed to rap and pop and danced to the music videos, i had tried alcohol and had a boyfriend. my point is that that I'm probably older than most of you and things havnt really changed that much and its not like its bad thing.. yeah i don't really know what I'm saying coz I'm really tired and meant to be working in my english class but whatevs these quotes annoy me.

When I was 11 no one around me gave a crap about what theyy looked like because we juat wanted to have fun at recess. I feel like some girls worru too much about materalistic stuff and less about having fun. Thats all I meant, I think I just worded things wrong in the quote because everyone is gettimg the wrong idea :P

I honestly do not see the problem with Abercrombie or Hollister. If those 11 year olds can fit into the clothing, and their parents have the money, let them go to that. They are just kids, trying to find out where they fit in and how they feel comfortable. If they feel comfortable in those clothes and with loads of makeup, let them be(:

when I made this quote I wasn't trying to say that ALL 11 year olds do that stuff. I was just making a point that A LOT of young girls I see act like their my age and I dont see why their in such a hurry to grow up. Thats all, so dont take it so personally because I didn't mean for you to.

I'm 11 and i don't wear makeup or anything :), thank god.I don't wanna grow up :( But i know theres lots of drama in school now :( Even thought were not 18,16, or 17 doesn't mean we don't go through stuff.We get bullies too and yeah, not ALL of 10,11,and 12 year olds are the same.Not all of us want to be grown up.

I'm turning 13 next week.. Just becuz I'm not 16 I've been through a hell of a lot! Don't even ask bout my 7th grade year. Ok? I'm sick and tired of seeing these quotes. I came on witty to escape life not to off even more.
