Stole My Heart
Chapter 1
I parked my car in the school parking lot, grabbed my bag, and walked over to the school's big double doors. I walked inside with my bag slung over my shoulder, and made my way over to my locker to get everything I needed for first period. My school was just like every other high school. There were the populars, the jocks, the emos, the nerds, and the nobodies, like me. 
"Hey Emma!" my best friend Charlotte called, flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder as she walked toward me.
Hey Char!" I replied, slamming my locker shut and putting my books in my bag.
"Did you listen to it?" she asked. Shoot, I thought. She had begging me to listen to her Up All Night CD for the past month. I didn't want to listen to it, but I had finally said I would so she would leave me alone.
"No, sorry, I forgot," I said, taking the CD out of my bag.
"Em! Why didn't you listen it?" she asked.
"Um, I had a lot of homework last night," I lied. I honestly had no interest in One Direction. But Charlotte loved them more than her own parents. "Here." I gave the CD back to her.
"Uh, what are you doing?" she asked, shoving the CD back at me. "You're listening to that whether you like it or not." I sighed. I loved Charlotte, bu sometimes, she was insane. I guess everyone's insane sometimes.
"Charlotte, I told you, I don't care about One Direction!" I told her, pushing the CD away.
"Just give them a chance, and listen to a couple of songs!" Just then, the bell rang. "Take it!"
"Fine!" I said. I took the CD and put it in my bag. Charlotte scurried away, looking pleased that she had gotten me to give her stupid boyband a chance. I hurried down the hallway, and walked into Mr. Peterson's history class. 
"Emma! You're late. If if happens again, you will recieve detention," Mr. Peterson warned.
"Sorry," I mumbled, sliding into my seat at the back of the room.
"We're on page 267."
I took out my history book and flipped to page 267, just like Mr. Peterson had instructed. The rest of the day went by slowly, just like it always did.
