Chapter 1- Part 1

Zayn’s POV:

“I’m telling you,” I told the guys. “She’s perfect.”

“You said that last time, Zayn,” replies Liam.

“But this time I mean it.” I still don’t remember her name, but I’m sure it’s amazing, just like everything else. I just have to see her again. Soon.

Our meeting was simple. It was a long time ago.

Our moms were best friends, until her mom moved. We were so young.. I could barely remember her. When my mom said they were coming to visit, I didn’t even remember who they were. Until she walked in the door. And those eyes. I instantly remembered the face. Who she is. But not her name. And I felt bad about losing it, but.. I didn’t think it was ever this important to me to remember anything before. I suddenly remember the beautiful name. The one I’ve secretly known forever.

“Mom, can you call up your friend?” I ask.

“Why?”

“Just wanna become friends with her daughter again,” I say, as I hope for a yes.

“Sure. Now?”

“Now.”
