Part 2

I tried to run, but I couldn't. My ankle was too hurt and swolen. "Go, get out of here, I can handle myself." I yelled at Dalton. It sounded harsh, but he knew I was just trying to protect him, and not let him get hurt. "Never." He said. Brennen hit his brakes, and got out of the car with the baseball bat. I knew what was coming. He stomped towards us, and as I was preparing for the impact on both of us, Dalton threw me to the side, and took a swing right in his side of his body. He let out a grunt of pain, and attempted to dodge the next swings. "Why don't you stop acting like a 5 year old and put the bat down." Dalton said firmly, and harshly. "Fine, I'll put the bat down." And he did exactly that. But I knew he wasn't finished. Brennen lauched a punch at Dalton's face, and hit him right in the nose. I could see blood trickle down from his face. Dalton threw back a punch at his jaw, and they went back and fourth. I couldn't tell who was on top of the other, throwing punches in all directions. They were on the ground now, wrestling each other, trying to win over the other. It was too dark to see who was who. I could almost make out the figure of Brennen, but they were moving around too fast. I had to stop Brennen, he was hurting Dalton, the only boy who I have actually liked in a while, or that I trusted for real. I thought, what if Brennen hurt him so much, he killed him. Brennen is psycho enough to do that. But I couldn't think about that right now, I had to get Brennen's attention to give Dalton a chance to recover, or even more importantly, get away. Brennen was much bigger then Dalton was, although Dalton was pretty strong, it's just that Brennen is a year older then us. I did the only thing I could think of. I picked up the bat, and stumbled towards his brand new pick up truck, the one he's only had for a few months. I swung into his headlights. I could barely see, the lights were blindingly bright. I smashed his headlights in, and hit his hood as hard as I could. I tried to hit the windsheild too. It took them a few seconds to realize what I was doing in the background of their fighting. It was probably the second most biggest mistake of my life; the first one being dating Brennen, but it definantly got his attention. Brennen looked my way, confused and angry at the same time. Dalton seemed confused, but I could tell from the look in his eyes that he realized what I was trying to do. "GO!" I yelled to Dalton, with tears in my eyes.

I've been waiting for this, my page was running so slow. I sat there like
