Prologue

Hello, My name is Alexis. I'm 16 years old. I'm a Sophmore at East Berlington Highschool. 2 years ago, the summer before highschool started, I was excited about it. I thought that highschool would be a great experience, filled with adventures and fun. I was wrong. It's a maze of peer pressure and bad choices. Luckly, I have a ton of friends, especially my bestie Sam, by my side to help me through everything. I have a boyfriend too. His name is Josh and he's a major basketball star. We've been together for awhile now. I'm really happy with him. My life at home is pretty normal. I have a mom and a dad, and they're happily together. I'm pretty happy about that. I also have a brother, his name is Christopher and he's three years younger than me. I love him, even though he's quiet annoying. So... That's basically it. so exciting, right? How about not. My life was perfect.... Until I got a little surprise.
