If it's a sport why isn't it in the olympics? I mean, I'm all for cheerleading as a sport don't get me wrong but I think more people would realize it if it was in the olympics! :')

it IS a sport, i agree with PaytonSawyer! i cheer and i popped my hip out of place doing a scorpian because im a flyer. My base broke her nose during out twist and my friend bruised her tailbone being a back and falling to catch her flyer. so yah

they are called cheer leaders. the whole reason there is suck a 'sport' is to lead the crowd and to get them to cheer. basically all they do is support another sport.

People who say "If its a sport why isn't in the olympics?" are stupid. Baseball isn't in it anymore & I haven't seen softball. Those are sports. Cheering takes TALENT. Along with muscle. It's dangerous girls AND guys get hurt. Cheer is a sport.
