chapter 10
Josh P.O.V
she took the bait. she actually believed that i was leaving. i know it was wrong to lie. but i had to. if i can do things with this girl she needs to inpress my friend because we were friends since preschool. and if i lose him i don't know what i would do with myself. but i really want to ask her out. so things are kinda complicated. but things will get better. i walk back to my house and plan to stay in the house until friday. the school already knows that i will not be in school so they sent me the homework.
Dinia P.O.V
i sit in my seat in the back all alone. without Josh here i don't know where to sit at lunch. Chloe walks over and i stiffen up immeately. she really doesn't like me. "'hey Dinia do you know where josh is?" she asks while batting her eyelashes.
"yeah his grandfather died yesterday." i say as innocently as i can.
"no he is still here. he just wanted to make sure that you would stop bothering him. you are annoying him and you need to stop. he doesn't like girls that hang. so i would suggest that you leave him alone." she says and then walks away. i sit there and wonder if its true. after class i ask my teacher to go to the nurse. she lets me. so i go to the nurse and tell them i am sick and need to go home. she says okay and i tell her i can walk home. i walk to josh's house and knock on the door. joshs mom answered it. "hi i was wondering if i could see josh?"
"oh sure he is in his room" i walk up to his room and see him in the room. i gasp. he looks up and he gasps too. he starts to get up, but by the time he is up i am out the door and run to this secret place in a run down building. and i cry the whole time.
