Chapter
3
Lacy
crashed at my place since we would be leaving at 3 in the
morning to head to Colorado. Molly started shouting for everyone
to get up and ready. She is so happy, all the time! Her
voice can really get annoying. I got a quick
shower so Lacy could take one. I changed into some
Hollister jean shorts and a baggy sweatshirt. It may be
summer but it's pretty cold at 3 AM. I grabbed a
Boston cream pie yogurt and a spoon and sat at the breakfast nook
in the kitchen. After a bit, Lacy comes down in some bright pink
shorts and a turquoise tank. She grabs a yogurt and slumps beside
me.
"Look who's bright eyed and bushy tailed!"
I nudge her playfully and go throw the empty yogurt cup in
the trash. I climb the stairs, past Emily's room,
who is still in bed. I grab Lacy and my suitcases. As I
walk into the hallway, I see Emily in the doorway of her room
Hello Kitty pj's and stuffed bear she's had for the
longest time. She rubs her eyes and looks at me. I walk over to
her and bend down.
"Hop on."
She climbs on to my back and I take her down the stairs along
with the suitcases. I lay her down on the sofa and set the
suitcases with everyone else's by the door. Lacy's head
is on the table, her yogurt barely touched. Jake appears and
embraces me in a hug. We're a pretty close family, even
closer since mom left. He then sees Lacy's yogurt and raises
an eyebrow.
"Go ask her.
He walks over to her and starts whispering in her ear,
"Lacy! Wake up! Lacy!"
He shakes her a bit. I giggle. Nate and Jake both know how Lacy
just loves them, so what he says next doesn't surprise
me,
"Oh gorgeous Lacy, wake up! I need to see your beautiful
face!"
Her head pops up, hitting the shelves above the breakfast
nook.
"Ow!"
She yelps. Jake and I are laughing as he grabs her yogurt ad eats
a spoonful,
"Thanks Lace!"
He turns on his heels into the living room. Lace yells to
him,
"Jerk!"
Okay, so there is one more chapter. I'm kind of still
deciding if I will give this story away. I have someone in
mind already, don't worry, she's trust worthy! I let you
all know when I post the next chapter,tomorrow. Love you all
so dearly! All you beautifuls, I'm sorry to end it but I
feel I spend too much time on here. I am still on tumblr,
also. I love you all, again! Stay Gorgeous!
