When I think about it,
I'd probably rather
spend my Fourth of July this year with my friends than I would
with a guy. I mean, yeah, sure, kissing a boy under fireworks
could be pretty nice, but when I really think about it
I have tons of years of that to look forward to in the future.
Right now us girls can spend July 4th chilling with our
friends, without having any kids or husband (and for most of
us, no boyfriend, either) to worry about. Yeah, we could hold
BBQs when we're older and invite the neighbors, but
it's just not the same, you know? Kisses are
kisses, but being a carefree teenager is a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity in itself. ♥ ♥
