I'm Hayden and sports are my life. But baseball is my favorite. I've been playing for atleast nine years now. That's how me and my best friend Courtney met. We were four and just starting in t-ball. When we were in t-ball there were these two girls Hallie and Cami were up at the nine-ten year old level. They were both amazing players and played up all the way to the last year they could. As we got older people started to say were were the next Hallie and Cami. Now we are thirteen and at the first year of travel ball. For the last few years we've been the only two girls in the league. Last year we even got to play on our first trounament team for eleven-twelve year olds. Now we have a big step playing travel ball. We have to prove ourselves ten times more than we already do. Boys can be creuel. We already have a few jerks in our league but theres gonna be boys we've never met that are gonna doubt us. But for now, we had our own boys behind us.

This year were the Royals. Ironically one of the worst teams in major league baseball. I hope that wasn't an omen. This year we had a few guys that we had played with on the trounament team and the rest were guys from around the league who we knew we had respect from. Atleast thats what I thought until I saw the roster.

Pat Klien was on this team. This was going to be a nightmare. Out of all the boys on the team-in the league- we get Pat Klien. He hates me. Especially because of what happened last summer.
