Honey, I'm fixin' to tell you somethin' about being southern.
Being southern doesn't mean I'm not educated.
I may say ''y'all" & call you "sweetie" or "hun''
I might "bless a lot of hearts" & even "piddle around"
I'll greet you with a "hey" and a big ol' hug.
All soda pop is "drank" & shopping carts are called a "buggy"
I'm polite & say "ma'am" & "sir"
& if you even hear a southerner say "Oh hell no!", you better run.
Everyone lives "down yonder" and God is always number one.
