Spencer
Chapter 2
“How was school honey?” my mother says as I enter the kitchen.
“It was good, nothing much.” Even though I still couldn’t get Spencer out of my head, gosh you usually only see such hotness in movies!
“Hey mom, is it okay if I go to the schools bon fire tonight with my friend Stacey?” Really I was only going so I could see him. “Yes! That is amazing how fast you are already making friends; I can already tell you are going to have a great year!” “Yeah, if I end up finishing this year” I said, knowing I was going to cause an unneeded argument with her.  “Hey… I know moving a lot isn’t the easiest thing but we have to—““Yea. I know for dads’ job. I just wish we could stay in a place for a long time”
Before she could start talking again I left the room. I am just tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. “Honey, I know it’s hard, it’s for his job, blah blah blah.” When are people going to even bother to ask what I want? While I tried to cool myself down, my phone started going off. It was Stacey, probably going to go on and on and on about the bon fire tonight. Which I couldn’t say I wasn’t excited about.
*2 Hours Later*
When we got to the bon fire it seems like every one was there! Everyone but Spencer… which made me feel like I have a huge gap in my chest. With Stacey there I had to act like I was having a great time or she would make sure I was. As I stood there getting a coke, I heard someone say, “Hello Adrienne”. It was Spencer; finally the bon fire was just right. “Hey Spencer! Where have you been?” “Oh, I just got here, come. Sit down.” As I walk over with him to sit down, I started to feel those butterflies again. “How do you like the new school?” He said. “Well it’s not the first school I’ve been new too. I move a lot because of my dad’s job” “I see, well hopefully you get to stay forever; I want to get to know you better” Oh my god. I’m going to explode! He made me smile so badly and I didn’t know a single thing about him yet! He makes me think about whether love at first sight is really true?
All of a sudden he started to seem distracted. “Is everything okay?” I said hoping it wasn’t me. “Uh, yeah. Everything is ok. Will you excuse me for a second?” “Yea, sure.”  When he said that I kind of felt like I became boring. That made me start to panic. I got up and started to walk around just looking at everyone having a great time. I stopped and looked at Stacey who is so star struck by some guy she is probably never going to talk to again. Which made me just laugh at her. I looked behind me and saw a trail with lights following so I decided to just go for a walk, it’s not like Stacey is going to miss me obviously, haha. As I walk down, and the further I went down the trail I couldn’t hear the noise from the party, which was really relaxing. I am not the whole partying type. I like to sit down, eat chocolate and watch The Notebook.  I started to get bored so I decided to turn around until suddenly…
I was grabbed.
