The Start of the Indestructible Wall

His eyes, so cold, pierced straight through her, the girl trembled at his words rather than his eyes, and no longer can she hold her tears, she turned around and ran away from him, silent cries banging in her heart. She came upon the tree that once was her height, now towered over her, the memories she had with him when they first met, the happiness he showed, sadness, love and now the heartbreaking truth of herself falling for him. In her heart she loves him, but her mind told her to hide this emotion so they can stay in this relationship forever close to him, even if it’s not love. She gazed slowly up at the young green leaves that swayed delicately with the wind, her eyes a torrential flow of water, she bit her lip to prevent her for making a sound, slapped her face a few times to stop the cries, and finally when she calmed down, headed back up to the dreaded classroom, where he is with his new girlfriend. Heart beating fast, arms shaking, she staggered up those thirteen flights of stairs and gulped in air right before the door. She grabbed the knob, clearly seeing her hands like an earthquake, wiped off the tears, and waited for the moment to smile as best as she could; the door opened slowly and her head popped to the other side of the door. She saw her two best friends talking so intimately to each other and noticed her standing at the door, they smiled and she did the same, building a wall to that dreadful emotion, and acted her best to be normal, even though her heart wants to rip away from her body and explode at them, but she ignored it, not wanting her two best friends to fall apart because of it. -12 minutes
