That Summer Romance
~Chapter 1~

I thought about what was in store for me. I thought... Maybe what I've been waiting for since January would happen. My stomach immediately began to get butterflies. I began to daydream... I could see me, walking down the isle with him on the other side. I saw my mom and dad standing next to me, and as I looked down I saw a gorgeous white gown wrapped tight around my body. As I approached Garrett in his dashing tux. I grabbed his hands and heard him yell my name... "MacKenzie. MacKenzie. MACKENZIE!" I snapped out of it and came back to him yelling my name and snapping his fingers in front of my face while we were sitting on the beach. I ammediatly apologized to him and we started talking about... Everything. I felt so comfortable with him. I could tell him anything and he wouldn't judge me. I love it.
As we faded off from talking we just sat watching the water and all the people around us. Soon enough I felt his hand touch mine. I looked down at our hands and then looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back. He said, "This is okay right? You don't have a boyfriend or anything do you?"
"No, I'm as single as can be at this moment acutally," I replied.
"Good." he said smiling.
He got up, still holding my hand, and walked over to the arcade. He bought us some tokens and we played a couple games. He eventually, after multiple trys, got me the cutest teddy bear from the claw machine. He handed it to me saying, "It's cute... Like you" I giggled and hugged the bear. He grabbed my hand again and walked me down the street from the arcade. He told me to close my eyes and to trust him to lead me to our next stop in the adventure. I let him drag me along the way. He stopped me in my tracks. I tried to peak but he woldn't let me. He told me he'd be right back and about 5 minutes later he walked me a couple more steps and told me to open my eyes.
