I My whole class walked to Missle Creek.
It was silent between me and Ryan.
When we finally reached the creek
Mr. Kridge gave everyone a small bucket to
collect water with, he told us to go to
all different parts of the pond with
are partners so the bacteria would be slightly different.
Me and Ryan walked about two miles down
the creek when we reached a calm,
quiet part of the creek. Everyone else was out of sight.
Finally I broke the silence. "Hi."
i said in a soft voice. "Hi Nicole."
His voice was soft, and he knew my name.
Ryan Goldberg knew my name. I was speechless.
After we collected our pondwater we sat down by the creek.
It was romantic what so ever,
but it didn't matter to me. At that point,
nothing mattered to me.
We talked for what felt like hours, he seemed so
down to earth, i felt as if we were meant for each other.
Every word that came out of his mouth was so soothing, so calm. We sat by the creek,and i placed
my hand down beside me on the soft grass,
his hand soon fell on top of mine.
At that moment i felt butterflies in my stomach, i wondered if he felt the same. But soon the moment was ruined.
Mr. Kridge blew his whisle, and everyone
reported back to him. On our way walking back Ryan grabbed my hand, our fingers locked,
as we walked back to the other classmates.
As we reached everyone i saw Carter.
He was starring at us, not moving a muscle.
His face was stern, not emotions. Then my eyes quickly moved to Mallery, she looked at us,
and her eyes soon wondered
to our hands. I had never seen her so mad in my life. But i don't blame her.How could someone like me, get a guy like Ryan? I was to love struck to even think.
As we reached the school Ryan asked me sommething i've always wanted to hear him say to me.
"Wanna come to my place?"
