Story writing suggestions:

-don't write about a teenage girl liking a boy, unless you really know how to make it interesting
-no cliches
-don't try to make first person too informal
-use details properly, don't give TMI
-don't use: lol, omg, and, haha, unless someone is speaking
-don't start the story with the person getting up/ready in the morning
-don't start your story on the first day of school
-don't start off by explaining the character (ex: hello I am maya and I have brown hair and am a typical girl) etc.
-let the reader gradually find out more about the character
-don't use common best friend/boyfriend plots
-try to create your own cool plots
-don't make wizardry/magic look bad
-be gracious with how intense the story is
-not so inappropriate that it will drive away readers
-s*x does not make the story better
-try writing in something other than the first person
-don't mess up facts (if there are any)

**these are all kind of the cliche, typical teenager written types of stories. NOTE: I am not trying to insult anyones writing, I think some people can take these topics and write an amazing story. I just think they are over used. No hate please its just my opinion, try to give advice.**
