Just another Teenage love story

Chapter 9:
 That night, after spending the whole day with Cameron, I couldn't stop thinking about him, wondering what I'd say to him the next time I saw him, if I saw him again.
The last thing he said when he left me on my doorstep was, "I'll see you later,"
something so simple, that could mean a million things.
12:00 -midday-I awoke to my mom shouting me from downstairs.
I rushed down the stairs, it sounded urgent.
I ninja slid into the kitchen where she stood , very dressed up for a special occasion.
"Blaire, it's 12 o'clock, why aren't you dressed? Dosn't matter, look ,me and your father are going to lunch with his boss, it's very important, so you are going to babysit Ami," She turned to Ami in her highchair, who was throwing her gloopy breakfast everywhere, and picked her up to place her in mine, "isn't she Ami," she said in her 'baby' voice.
I couldn't look after her I had to see Cameron, I had things to do, well, possibly, i was working on that plan,
"Mom i can't ,1st- STEP father," I said through grited teeth, "2nd- i'm already late for the beach, i can't,"
"You will," Mom snapped and then walked out the door with George. 
I put Ami on my hip and then stormed upstairs to get dressed, I sat Ami on my bed whilst she fiddled with the sparkly jewellery sprawled across it.
I chucked on some sweats and  shoved my hair into a messy bun and grabed Ami and I spent an hour  in front of the T.V whilst Ami played with her building blocks. Liam had made some friends down at the skate park ,who he's been spending alot of time with,  so I was alone.
The door bell rang, Mom and George must've have been back early, was my first thought, so i opened the door without hestitaion.
But there stood the one who had been circling my mind, Cameron. However, i stood spechless.
"Hey," He greeted, "I didn't see you today, so i thought i'd come to see you," He smiled, knocking the breath out me.
"Erm, erm,well yeah, I'm stuck babysitting," I just about managed to get my words out.
"Oh, shame I was wondering if you wanted to come to the beach, there's a campfire tonight," he invited,
"I would love to but," almost as if on que, Ami whined my name from the other room, 
"Well, i could help you babysit, if you wanted?" He asked, so charmingly,  
Was he seriously asking, or was he joking? Either way it made my heart skip as I contemplated the thought of him with me.
"Really, because no matter how cute Ami may look, she will bite you like a vampire," I giggled,
"I'm sure i can handle it," he laughed,
